How do credits work?

Analysis actions consume credits from your monthly allowance. Credits reset at the start of each monthly cycle — unused credits do not roll over and are forfeited. Community features (Public Ideas, public profiles, Workspaces) do not consume credits. Yearly subscribers receive a fresh monthly credit reset every month throughout the year — the credit cycle is decoupled from the yearly billing cycle.

How do I upgrade or switch plans?

If you're on Free, visit the pricing page or the Billing section of your dashboard and click the plan you want — you'll be taken to a secure checkout. If you're already on a paid plan and want to switch (Pro to Plus, monthly to yearly, or vice-versa), open the Stripe Customer Portal from the Billing page — Stripe handles the mid-cycle proration cleanly and the new plan reflects in Gaplyze the moment the change confirms.

What happens to my credits when I switch plans?

When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan, your credit allowance updates to the new tier and the credit cycle starts fresh. When you downgrade or cancel, you keep your current credits for the rest of the cycle; the lower allowance applies from the next cycle onward. Yearly subscribers continue to receive monthly credit resets throughout any cancel-pending year.

Where do I cancel my subscription?

Open Billing in your dashboard and click Manage subscription — this opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel in a single step. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period. There are no prorated refunds — once a billing cycle begins, that cycle's charge is final and non-refundable.

Are there refunds or prorated charges?

Accepted Answer

All subscription charges are non-refundable and there is no proration when you cancel. When you cancel, you keep access for the remainder of your current billing period; no partial refund is issued. Credits remaining at cycle end are forfeited.

Is my data private — and what stays mine?

Accepted Answer

On paid plans you have full control over the visibility of every idea, every analysis, every blueprint, and every export you produce — keep them private to your workspace or choose to share. On the free plan, generated content has public visibility by default (a deliberate trade-off — Public Ideas is the community contribution surface). Your account credentials, search history, and personal information stay private in all cases, and we do not use your input data to train AI models.

Do I keep my data and reports if I cancel?

Yes, until you delete it. Cancelling stops new charges but does not auto-delete your workspace data. You can continue to log in to view, export, and download every scored idea, Strategy Map analysis, Market Intelligence report, blueprint, roadmap, and Investor-Ready Export you produced. Delete individual artifacts at any time, or contact support for a full account deletion.

Can I delete my data?
