SuccessionGrid is infrastructure for contingent planning across key-person risks in family enterprises and small conglomerates. Most families have wills and maybe a trust, but almost none have a codified, testable plan for “what happens if the patriarch, CFO, or operating MD disappears tomorrow.” We target mid-sized family groups (R100m–R3bn revenue) and their advisors who need robust but practical succession tooling. The platform: - Maps key roles, decision rights, and dependencies across companies and trusts in a visual graph - Lets users build contingency playbooks (e.g., interim leadership, bank signatory updates, board reconstitution, lender notifications) - Runs tabletop simulations and stress tests to reveal failure points - Stores versioned playbooks with controlled sharing to banks, insurers, and lawyers. Monetization is SaaS per group plus a premium for simulation workshops, which can be delivered by partner consultants. Over time, aggregated patterns of failure and best practice form a data moat and feed automated risk scoring.
