PhishFront TriageDesk

The Pitch

Idea Description

PhishFront TriageDesk is a verticalized copilot just for phishing and email-borne alerts, where market signals are strongest: Product Hunt and G2 reviews of email security tools show recurring frustration that user-reported phish queues are massive and full of junk, and that triage still happens manually in Outlook/Jira. Instead of another gateway, PhishFront focuses solely on post-delivery triage: clustering similar reports, auto-enriching with threat intel, and suggesting disposition + bulk actions (close, educate, sandbox more, or escalate to IR).

  • Targets: Mid-size enterprises (1k–15k employees) with burgeoning "Report Phish" programs generating 100–2,000 reports/day, often handled by 1–3 overworked analysts.
  • Value: Uses AI to group similar reports, identify known campaigns, and distinguish user confusion from real phish, while generating plain-language explanations that can be reused as user feedback templates.
  • Differentiation: It stays ruthlessly narrow on phish triage workflow, integrating with O365/Gmail, Proofpoint/Mimecast, and common IR tools, instead of being a broad SOC copilot. This aligns with VC funding patterns pushing specialization (several 2024–2025 investments into email security and security automation) and addresses direct complaints on Reddit and X that current tools “stop some phish but do nothing to handle the never-ending reported-phish queue.”
